I am an obsessive maker of glass beads using lampworking techniques. Each bead is unique so every finished piece is also unique. I do not make the same piece twice.

I make necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets using glass sourced from Italy, Germany, and the USA. Some glass is sourced also from China where it is manufactured under licence to Italian glass makers.

I melt the glass using a dual-fuel torch and the beads are annealed in a kiln. Annealing makes the beads tough and durable. Recent innovations in the production of new types of glass mean I can revel in a wide variety of rich colours including colours with a high silver content.
