Fekerte Tesfaye owns and runs Fekerte's Ethiopian Cuisine which has been an unmissable staple to the Old Bus Depot Markets food court since they joined us when the Markets first opened in 1994.

Every year, Prosperous Mountain Dragon and Lion Dance challenge themselves to do better and to showcase new performances. With their return to the Old Bus Depot Markets, Troupe Leader David Wong advises to expect lots of new things ahead.

International Crafts and Food on the 10th February will mark the annual return of Prosperous Mountain Lion Dance, Drum Assault, and Bellyup Bellydance.

Pippy's and Pippy's Hot Pies, like their name suggests, sells some of the most scrumptious pies at the Markets. The stall has been with the Old Bus Depot Markets for 24 years and it started as a project by co-owners Brian Loader and Stuart McKinnon where the latter described it as a "meeting of minds over a glass of wine."

It's almost the holiday season and, as always in December, the Markets are open on both Saturdays and Sundays before Christmas. That's double the opportunity to find memorable Christmas presents for friends and loved ones.

What's Christmas without a Christmas tree? Santa's Shaped Christmas Tree will be at the Old Bus Depot Markets for the following dates: Saturdays & Sundays: 1st & 2nd, 8th & 9th, and 15th & 16th respectively.

In case you haven't heard, Santa's in town and he's brought Ernest the Elf. Only for the Christmas Season, Ernest visits the markets and will entertain the kids once again in the opening Saturday and Sunday respectively on the 1st and 2nd December for Christmas Kids.

You better watch out as word on the street is Santa's in town and he'll be at the Markets waiting to hear your Christmas wish! Stalls will showcase items fitting for the holiday season with a number of specialty items for kids. It will truly be a fun filled weekend for the whole family with many exciting attractions in store.

Owner and Designer Carol Webster has been with the Markets since its inception over 24 years ago and through it, she's expanded her designs, met with many repeat customers, and created memories that have become real gems.

Alexandra Rose Designs, formerly Eleda Fine Jewellery, is the latest vision by Jeweller Ian Ward who has been in the business of designing and retailing jewellery for over 30 years. They focus on designs that draw out the colours of the Australian landscape. Think brilliant blue skies, rusted red earth, and turquoise oceans.
