In case you haven't heard, Santa's in town and he's brought Ernest the Elf. Only for the Christmas Season, Ernest visits the markets and will entertain the kids once again in the opening Saturday and Sunday respectively on the 1st and 2nd December for Christmas Kids.
Someone who’s no stranger to the markets, Liam Wright will be making a return on Creative Fibre, 8 July. Liam has opened for such talents as Kim Churchill, James Bennett, and the Bronze Whalers among others.
Lisa Maps looks to make a return and so does Anthony Lawler whose performance is perfect for an easy Sunday morning. Many more performances are coming up including the always entertaining Guyy and the Foxx.
This April we anticipate to sway to the ebb and flow of modern jazz and rock classics brought to us by the talented trio of Lambert & Co. Singer-songwriter James Bennett is also scheduled to make a stop.
Drum Assault will bring their award-winning performance of infectious West African beats to the Markets on International Day, 11 February. We’re also expecting a number of talented and kinetic performers on the day including swing dancing from Jumptown Swing and a lion dance from Canberra Prosperous Mountain Lion Dance to kick off Chinese New Year. Let’s end the Summer right.
