Textile Treasures Owner Sarah Bartram believes in the movement of "slow fashion." "Everything's mass-produced these days, and they're very disposable," says Sarah. "I'm looking at the opposite. My whole idea around Textile Treasures is to have something that's useful and worth keeping."

Owner and Designer Carol Webster has been with the Markets since its inception over 24 years ago and through it, she's expanded her designs, met with many repeat customers, and created memories that have become real gems.

Alexandra Rose Designs, formerly Eleda Fine Jewellery, is the latest vision by Jeweller Ian Ward who has been in the business of designing and retailing jewellery for over 30 years. They focus on designs that draw out the colours of the Australian landscape. Think brilliant blue skies, rusted red earth, and turquoise oceans.

Karen Kowald's Moondrop Pearls is a true staple to the Old Bus Depot Markets known for her stunning designs of necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. With Jewel of Canberra right around the corner, we spoke to one of our longest standing stallholders about her knowledge of pearls and her experiences at the markets.
