We’re bringing a little bit of the country, and one of the country’s best in sheep shearing, to the markets for A Celebration of Wool Catch live sheep shearing demonstrations from award-winning shearer, Ian Elkins, on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 May.

We knew you loved wool. We see it at our A Celebration of Wool event each year. Which is why this year our most popular theme event will run over two BIG days - Saturday 20 May AND Sunday 21 May.

Knitting is in Megan Carey’s blood. Literally. Her mother, grandmother and sisters knit, and she’s been doing so since she was eight years old. She even made her own jumper from a pattern at the mere age of 10! Now Megan brings her luscious woollen creations to the markets with her business Tigs Togs.

Sonia from Silk ‘n’ Things is well known at the markets for creating fabulous garments for women, and she’s been doing so almost since the markets’ inception.

Wool. Is there anything you can’t do with this glorious fibre? Come and get wooed by wool with us at our one and only annual day that pays homage to this winter favourite, A Celebration of Wool, on Sunday 17 May.
