Sometimes some of the best life changes can happen after tragedy. After local Canberran mother of three Kim lost her father to cancer 18 months ago she realised it was time for a life change and to try out an idea she’d long been brewing – an all-natural skin care range.
Well, not really so secretive, but we thought that sounded pretty cool. We’re so pleased to be able to say that there are seven original stallholders still at the markets today. That’s seven stallholders who were at our very first Old Bus Depot Markets back on 11 September 1994.

It’s Creative Fibre month in July. Sunday 13 July to be precise. This is one of our most popular theme days of the year as we will showcase some of the Canberra region’s most talented fibre and textile artists.

Carlo and Anita’s business, boyandgirlco, was born out of a simple meal in Sydney that totally changed the way they look at life. And now these newcomers to the markets are producing some amazing furniture out of recycled materials
Not literally of course! But bring ‘em to the markets on the 15th of this month for our special Kids in the Shed theme day. Find your inner child or just enjoy this fun family day out for children, parents and grandparents. Kids will enjoy entertainment, face painting, yummy things to eat and stacks of stuff just for them. We’ll have lots of cool products for kids for sale on the day from babies, right through to teenagers.
