After 21 years (it would have been 22 years in September!), the markets are hitting the next chapter in their long Canberra history as the current owners, Diane Hinds and Morna Whiting, have sold the business to new owners, effective immediately.
Knitting is in Megan Carey’s blood. Literally. Her mother, grandmother and sisters knit, and she’s been doing so since she was eight years old. She even made her own jumper from a pattern at the mere age of 10! Now Megan brings her luscious woollen creations to the markets with her business Tigs Togs.

If you’re interested in photography, our brand new addition to the markets, The Photography Room, is for you. The Photography Room opened on Sunday 13 March, with over 200 people visiting the gallery on the first day.
This month we put the spotlight on 14 year old local singer songwriter, Lucy Sugerman What were you doing at 14 years old? Lucy is one dedicated girl with a dream to become a full time performing and recording artist, and she manages to perform regularly, play piano, guitar, violin and drums amongst school, dance and other teenage pursuits.
