Some of Jill Grant’s works from vintage kimono fabrics

We’re always talking to regular stallholders. We’ve got to know many of them personally over the years and know that for many of our creative souls, the markets have become a major part of their lives, a creative way of life, and quite sustainable too.

Last month the very talented Jessica Schumann from Her Canberra, got to know two of our talented creative female stallholders a little better. She spoke to Jill Grant from Kimoyes who works with vintage Japanese kimono fabrics, and Danielle Mate-Sullivan, a contemporary Indigenous artist, about how their market business has grown and why they enjoy being a part of our market.
