Last month we were thrilled, and most definitely humbled, by the number of people from the local community, visitors from interstate and past and present stallholders, who came to the market on Sunday 14 September to celebrate our 20th birthday with us. Yes there was cake! And loads more.

Our special ‘Birthday Hub’ was a delight for gourmet food lovers with a decadent macaron tower, delicious cakes, profiterole tower, handmade chocolates and sorbets, all made by our talented stallholders and shared with the public who visited us.The crowds were kept entertained by some of our regular buskers, there were balloons for the kids and it truly was a fun day of celebrations.

We did it. 20 years down as Canberra’s iconic Sunday markets and still going strong. We are most proud of everyone who has been involved with us over the many years. Bring on the next 20!
