NEW: Have you tried Johnny’s falafel?

2 February, 2016

Falafel and vine leaves by Old Bus Depot Markets stallholder, Johnny's FalafelWell, have you? If you haven’t, then you should.

John Saad is a Canberra man with a restaurant background who’s been making his delicious falafel since the 1970s. And it’s very, very tasty.

John and his niece, Rebecca, make the traditional Middle Eastern dish of falafel from their premises in Kingston.

You can find Johnny and his selection of falafel and vine leaves, as well as tahini sauce and spiced cauliflower which he will bring to market in the winter months, every Sunday at the markets.
