Market Entertainment: January 2019

Did you get a chance to visit our Christmas Markets yet? We’ve had quite the entertainment. Surely the one kids remember most is the hilarious elf show by Ernest the Elf for our Christmas Kids event. We’ve still got two Christmas Markets left before we close for the holidays, so we hope to see you there!

After the holidays we can’t wait for a string of talented performances when we return on the 13th of January for Portobello Road. We’ve got singer/songwriter Rebecca Mann’s first performance at the Markets on the last Sunday of the month. We look forward to live performances of songs form her new EP, Moon. Leading up to that it’s the return of Charlie’s Attic and Accidental Luddites, and more.

Rebecca Mann

Rebecca Mann is a new face to the Markets, and we’re thrilled she’s coming down. She’s a local singer/songwriter who performs folk music and plays vocals and guitar. Her new EP Moon just dropped with four emotional and original tracks. It was recorded with Guy Lilleyman of Guy and the Fox at Amberly Studios. Charlie’s Attic

Charlie’s Attic is an original Alternative Country band that’s based locally in Canberra. They’re comprised of Cheree Martin on vocals; Dave Hughes on guitar, dobro, mandolin, and vocals; and Clark Fisher on bass. We’re glad to have them come back to the Markets this January. Accidental Luddites

It was great to see the Accidental Luddites perform with us last week for our Super Christmas Weekend. They’ll be back again this January.
