You may have seen reports in the local media regarding changes to the Old Bus Depot Building in Kingston by the Land Development Agency. Specifically changes to the upper hall roof of the building which is set to be replaced between January and April 2014.

Overall the Old Bus Depot Markets wholeheartedly welcomes the changes which will connect us to the developing arts precinct on the Kingston Foreshore.

Having been the original business on the Kingston Foreshore for the past almost 20 years, we are very pleased that our award winning markets will have a secure future.

We would also like to clarify that, at this stage, we are not in a position to know specific details around timing and temporary changes to the Market configuration on a Sunday.   One thing we do know is that the Old Bus Depot Markets will be open for business throughout this time.  We will know more after an update meeting with the ACT Government this coming week.

The Old Bus Depot Markets are very much looking forward to the next 20 years on the Kingston Foreshore.
