Col Ellis and his works in Gallery Twenty Seven are pretty much an institution at the markets.  And after 14 years with us, Col’s unique and artistic art photography still impresses our visitors.

His works include limited edition fine art photography, Australian landscape photography, Canberra scenic photography, framed and unframed art photos and canvas prints among other products. Col, who lives and works in Canberra, says he loves the diversity of the visitors who come to the markets each week with a real mix of locals, interstate and international visitors finding his different works appealing for different reasons.

His photography subjects include outdoor, landscapes, seascapes, Australian flora and fauna as well as African animals – and his Canberra scenes are popular with visitors to the national capital. As well as his own works, Col also specialises in printing and framing other people’s works.

The works of GalleryTwentySeven are displayed across the markets’ two levels, as well as on the wall of the connecting ramp, and Col has also just opened his own gallery and printing and framing workshop in Higgins. You can browse his amazing works at the markets each week.
