International Day takes place on Sunday 11 February where you can ‘travel the world’ within the market surrounds, exploring the many cultures which call the nation’s capital home. Taste international cuisines, be entertained by local ethnic music and dance groups performing traditional dances, and buy gifts handcrafted in faraway lands.  You can browse and buy Indian block print textiles, Turkish towels and Ottoman style jewellery, Pakistani block printed handmade paper and table mats, French provincial homewares, Japanese kimonos and homewares and handcrafted jade sculptures.
