Boy, is it cold. But fear not. Our next set of performers know how to make the most of the season by playing tunes that can range from calm, entrancing, and spirited bringing a lot of heart and warmth to the markets this winter.

Liam Wright is coming back to the markets who Happy Mag described as one of the ACT artists to keep your eye on, and we couldn’t agree more. Expect AFK Choir to echo hymns of pop culture references as this a capella group makes their first performance at the markets. Please read on to see our full line up this July.

Liam Wright

Someone who’s no stranger to the markets, Liam Wright will be making a return on Creative Fibre, 8 July. Liam has opened for such talents as Kim Churchill, James Bennett, and the Bronze Whalers among others. He’s currently on The Lighthouse Tour 2018 which travels from Queensland down to Victoria. AFK Choir

This group is bringing something new to the markets also for Creative Fibre, this 8 July . Away From Keyboard (AFK) Choir proudly describes themselves as a Canberra-based choir “of geeks, for geeks.” Expect the topics of their songs to range anywhere from online games to Star Wars to zombies and anything in between. Hovert Gonzales

Hovert graduated with a Bachelor’s in Music and teaches at the Young Regional School in New South Wales. His mastery of the guitar is plain to see. Witness him effortlessly strum and pluck the strings of his guitar with great melodic freedom and always a smile on his face.
