The life of a collector is most exciting. The thrill of the hunt for that perfect piece. Markets newcomer, Sarah Connell, knows all about that as she hits the markets for the first time this month with her business, All Tat Glitters. Kingston-based Sarah calls herself a purveyor of play worn curios. Coming from the junk style end of antique dealing, she sells quirky, classic, industrial and found objects. Things you might find when visiting All Tat Glitters include anything from lamps to jugs, side tables to architect’s drawers, retro prints to retro kitchen canisters, and vases to vintage toys. She says everything they stock has patina, a back-story and something about it that caught her eye whether it was the colour, the oddity, the clean lines, the workmanship or the materials used.
