Ever heard of Kombucha, Jun Tea, Water Kefir or Milk Kefir? They all have one thing in common as Angela Noble will tell you, they are all very good for you.

After suffering from serious back problems, and subsequent surgeries and years of heavy pharmaceuticals, Bredbo-based Angela thought there had to be a better way to deal with her resultant gut problems. This, together with her passion for educating people about healthier living and moving away from diets laden with sugar, caffeine and alcohol, led her down the path of how to heal herself naturally. And so Gift Of Our Earth was born.

Her business focuses mainly on producing very healthy probiotic-filled drinks which aid digestion and gut problems including Kombucha – a fermented and lightly effervescent tea drink which can be flavoured with different fruits; Jun Tea – a similar fermented health tonic; Water Kefir – a drink made from symbiotic grains of bacteria and yeast that ferment in water; and Milk Kefir – which uses the same fermented grains to turn full organic milk into a yoghurt, jam-packed with good bacteria. Angela says consuming such drinks daily can help keep the gut in the best possible health – this can then aid everything from anxiety to depression, blood pressure and hormonal issues.

At her stall at the markets Angela sells DIY kits for Kombucha, Jun Tea, Water Kefir and Milk Kefir, and is most happy to help people understand what to do and how to get the best out of these drinks. She also sells activated almonds and her own Kombucha and Lemon Water Kefir on tap – and if you bring your glass bottle back washed and clean, she will refill it at a cheaper price next time.
