Market entertainment: September

Part of any Sunday out at the markets is the fabulous entertainment on offer. Introduce your ears to what’s on in September with traditional and contemporary Irish and Scottish songs, African drumming and dance, acoustic guitars, classical groove, carnival, blues, roots and swing.

Raw talent this month includes Drum Effect, Liam Wright and Shelby Grace on 4 September; Humbug Celtic and Liam Wright again on 11 September; check out the Hope Street Band and Richard Perso on 18 September; and three favourites Jumptown Swing, The Guitar Cases and Lucy Sugerman finish up the September entertainment on 25 September.
