On Sunday 15 September 2013 we will again be hosting our environmentally focused theme day, Green Savvy Sunday.

This is the fourth year we’re holding Green Savvy Sunday and its focus is something that we and our stallholders feel really passionate about – how easy it is to be green in our everyday lives.

This interactive market brings together products and community groups focused on domestic green sustainable living – a great day out for the environmentally conscious consumer.

Interesting products on offer on the day will include totes and handbags made from recycled jeans, handcrafted carpets from Cambodia (which is a Carpets for Communities project focused on sustainable solutions to ending poverty),  artisan based works using linen, leather and wool,  unique up-cycled furniture pieces and small home wares, electric bikes, organic skin care and clothing.

Justin Ryan from Armada Solar will be on hand with information available on making your house more energy neutral, and Jodie Pipkorm from Canberra City Farm will have information encouraging people to grow food locally and sustainably.
